Why My Phone Says Continue Software Update but in Grey
You should upgrade or use an alternative browser.

Magisk showed CTS as passing integrity checks (both basic and CTS). I'm wondering if anybody has any idea how to re-enable this capability, short of wiping the phone completely.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

How do u know they are rolling out updates? It said it was still in development for android 11..maybe update to 10?I have a 1+ 8 5g from TMO, and I just looked at my settings -> system -> system updates and saw that the Download and Install is greyed out. I uninstalled magisk completely, but this continued to be greyed out. I know that TMO is rolling out updates to A11, so I'm wondering if this was due to a configuration issue. I also tried clearing Google Play Services to no avail.Magisk showed CTS as passing integrity checks (both basic and CTS). I'm wondering if anybody has any idea how to re-enable this capability, short of wiping the phone completely.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Regardless, the option is greyer out. Previously it allowed one to click it to check, even if no update were available.

If the bootloader is unlocked, you will be unable to take any updates. You will have to use MSM to restore back to a locked state.

Ok. I didn't realize that. Guess I will convert to Android 11 once magisk works with android auto touch screen apps (AA Mirror, screen2auto, etc). I need the touch screen functionality for my car.
Thanks for this info.

...I uninstalled magisk completely...
Did you restore your stock boot.img? That's essential, uninstalling the Magisk app itself is not required.

Yes. But as stated previously, I did not relock my phone, and apparently this doesn't work for OTA updates if the phone has an unlocked bootloader.

You don't need a locked bootloader. Mine is unlocked and I updated via OTA yesterday after unrooting.

This is weird. I have never been able to receive OTAs after unlocking bootloader, even with stock boot.img. As soon as it is unlocked for me, the option for system update completely disappears.

I couldn't tell you why it doesn't let some people update.
